Phthalates - The concerns

Phthalates are a mixture of chemicals that make our typical skincare and beauty products less dry. Phthalates are frequently found in nail polish, toys, shampoos, detergents, and moisturisers. Phthalates are also used to soften PVC plastic and can damage the liver, kidneys, lungs, and reproductive system.

In many studies in recent years, Phthalates have had links to male and female reproductive defects, asthma, ADHD and breast cancer. The only way to avoid these chemicals is to avoid products that contain them.

When there is“fragrance”, there are phthalates which makes it impossible to identify them on a brand's packaging. Many people aware of them and their harmful effects avoid products that contain fragrance and come in cheap plastic packaging.

High-integrity beauty brands are the best brands to purchase from to avoid any kind of harmful chemicals.
